EduVita

is an Italian NGO dedicated to the promotion of lifelong learning and the development of intergenerational and intercultural relationships. It is an open space for different generations meeting, a cultural and educational centre in Lecce, South Italy, founded by two Italian and one Belarusian young people in January 2019.

EduVita is a co-working and co-learning space in Lecce where to create and share the knowledge considering the experience of different generations. In October 2018 we became a PIN Winner – Initiative promoted by the Youth Policies of the Puglia Region and ARTI and financed with ESF resources.

EduVita has the following objectives:

1. promote lifelong learning for social inclusion;
2. promote social development of people with disadvantages through the education of people of all ages;
3. develop intergenerational relationships through constructive dialogue and exchange of experiences;
4. promote collaboration between the university environment, non-profit organizations and the professional world;
5. promote non-formal and digital education
6. promote youth initiative and entrepreneurship

Our main activities:

INTERGENERATIONAL LEARNING

– “EduTecha” – courses and workshops to take the first steps in digital, to use the PC, tablet and smartphone. Personal meetings and group courses on using of tablets and smartphones.
– Language courses for over 55 provided by young educators
– Intergenerational Book exchanges
– Intergenerational English Reading club

INTERCULTURAL LEARNING

– Books presentations organised by Spanish, Italian, Russian authors
– Workshops provided by Belarusian, Russian and EU educators

DIGITAL EDUCATION

– courses and exams for EIPASS certification (European informatics passport)

PROMOTING OF YOUTH INITIATIVE AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP

– presentation of EduVita experience at the conferences and events organised by local NGOs and local authorities
– co-working space

PROMOTING OF ERASMUS+ OPPORTUNITIES

– networking with local NGOs/ local authority/ University of Salento/ elderly centres
– involvement of ESC volunteers in the activities of our NGO (in collaboration with a local accredited youth NGO)
